अपत्यविक्रयात्कल्पं वसेद्विट्कृमिभोजने । अतो नाण्वपि कन्याया उपजीव्यं नरैर्धनम्

Transliteration

apatyavikrayātkalpaṃ vasedviṭkṛmibhojane | ato nāṇvapi kanyāyā upajīvyaṃ narairdhanam

Translation

Do bán con cái, người ta phải ở suốt một kiếp (kalpa) trong cõi nơi loài giun ăn đồ nhơ uế. Vì thế, con người chớ sống nhờ dù chỉ chút của cải nào có được từ ‘giá’ của con gái.
