जातिमात्रेण विप्रत्वं जायते न हि भो द्विजाः । क्रिया बलवती लोके क्रियाहीने कुतः फलम्
jātimātreṇa vipratvaṃ jāyate na hi bho dvijāḥ | kriyā balavatī loke kriyāhīne kutaḥ phalam
Hỡi các bậc dvija, chỉ do sinh ra mà thôi thì chưa thể thành tựu phẩm tính brāhmaṇa chân thật. Trong đời này, chính hạnh nghiệp và sự hành trì mới là sức mạnh; không có hành trì thì quả báo từ đâu mà có?
