कर्मणा मत्कृतेनायं मृतो वैश्यः शिवव्रती । तस्मादहं प्रवेक्ष्यामि सहानेन हुताशनम् । सधर्मचारिणीत्युक्तं सत्यमेतद्धि पश्यथ
karmaṇā matkṛtenāyaṃ mṛto vaiśyaḥ śivavratī | tasmādahaṃ pravekṣyāmi sahānena hutāśanam | sadharmacāriṇītyuktaṃ satyametaddhi paśyatha
“Vì nghiệp do ta gây nên, vị vaiśya này—người giữ Śiva-vrata—đã chết. Bởi vậy ta sẽ cùng chàng bước vào hutāśana, ngọn lửa thiêng. ‘Sahadharminī’—lời ấy là chân thật; xin hãy chứng kiến sự thật này.”
