वह्निरुवाच । नमस्ते सर्वलोकेश उग्रमूर्ते नमोऽस्तु ते । रेतसा तव संदग्धः कुष्ठी जातो महेश्वर । कृपां कुरु महादेव मम रोगं विनाशय
vahniruvāca | namaste sarvalokeśa ugramūrte namo'stu te | retasā tava saṃdagdhaḥ kuṣṭhī jāto maheśvara | kṛpāṃ kuru mahādeva mama rogaṃ vināśaya
Vahni (Agni) thưa: “Con đảnh lễ Ngài, Chúa tể của muôn cõi; con kính lễ hình tướng uy mãnh của Ngài. Ôi Maheśvara, bị thiêu đốt bởi hỏa lực của Ngài, con đã mắc bệnh phong. Ôi Mahādeva, xin rủ lòng từ—diệt trừ bệnh của con.”
