युधिष्ठिर उवाच । एतच्छ्रुत्वा तु मे तात परं कौतूहलं हृदि । जातं तत्कथयस्वेति शृण्वतः सह बान्धवैः

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | etacchrutvā tu me tāta paraṃ kautūhalaṃ hṛdi | jātaṃ tatkathayasveti śṛṇvataḥ saha bāndhavaiḥ

Yudhiṣṭhira thưa rằng: Kính bạch bậc tôn trưởng, nghe điều ấy lòng con khởi lên niềm hiếu kỳ lớn. Xin Ngài kể rõ câu chuyện ấy, khi chúng con đang lắng nghe—cùng với thân quyến của con.
