मार्कण्डेय उवाच । साधु प्रश्नो महाराज पृष्टो यो वै त्वयोत्तमः । पुराणे विस्तरो ह्यस्य न शक्यो हि मयाधुना
mārkaṇḍeya uvāca | sādhu praśno mahārāja pṛṣṭo yo vai tvayottamaḥ | purāṇe vistaro hyasya na śakyo hi mayādhunā
Mārkaṇḍeya nói: Hỡi đại vương, câu hỏi tối thắng mà ngài nêu ra thật đáng tán thán. Sự triển khai đầy đủ thuộc về truyền thống Purāṇa, và hiện nay ta không thể thuật lại một cách trọn vẹn.
