Transliteration

tataścāpyadhikāni syuriti mārkaṇḍabhāṣitam | aṣṭāśītisahasrāṇi vyāsadvīpāśritāni ca

Translation

Và vượt ngoài những điều ấy, người ta nói vẫn còn nhiều hơn nữa—đó là lời Mārkaṇḍeya. Cũng nêu rằng có tám mươi tám nghìn (tīrtha) gắn với Vyāsa-dvīpa.
