तत्र तीर्थे तु यः स्नात्वा कुरुते प्राणसंक्षयम् । बर्हियुक्तेन यानेन स गच्छेच्छिवमन्दिरे
tatra tīrthe tu yaḥ snātvā kurute prāṇasaṃkṣayam | barhiyuktena yānena sa gacchecchivamandire
Tại thánh địa ấy, ai tắm xong rồi xả bỏ thân mạng ngay nơi đó, sẽ đến thánh cư của Śiva, được đưa đi trên cỗ xe trang sức bằng cỏ barhis linh thiêng.

Scene: A pilgrim completes Narmadā snāna at Gopeśvara and, at life’s end, is received by a radiant celestial vimāna decorated with barhis-grass, ascending toward Śiva’s luminous mandira.
The Purāṇa depicts certain tīrthas as gateways to Śiva’s realm, emphasizing the extraordinary sanctity attributed to place and vow.
