न जीवे वञ्चितोऽन्येन प्राणांस्त्यक्ष्ये न संशयः । एतन्मे वद विप्रेन्द्र परं कौतूहलं मम
na jīve vañcito'nyena prāṇāṃstyakṣye na saṃśayaḥ | etanme vada viprendra paraṃ kautūhalaṃ mama
“Nếu ta bị kẻ khác lừa dối, ta sẽ không sống tiếp; không nghi ngờ gì, ta sẽ bỏ mạng. Hỡi bậc tối thượng trong hàng Bà-la-môn, xin hãy nói cho ta; lòng hiếu kỳ của ta vô cùng mãnh liệt.”
