piṇḍadānena caikena vidhiyuktena bhārata | dvādaśābdāni tuṣyanti pitaro nātra saṃśayaḥ

Hỡi Bhārata, chỉ với một lần dâng piṇḍa đúng theo pháp nghi, các bậc tổ tiên được thỏa mãn suốt mười hai năm—điều ấy không hề nghi ngờ.
