eraṇḍyāḥ saṅgame snātvā brahmahatyāṃ vyapohati | rātrau jāgaraṇaṃ kuryātprabhāte bhojayeddvijān
Tắm gội tại nơi hợp lưu của sông Eraṇḍī thì ngay cả tội đại ác như sát hại Bà-la-môn cũng được trừ sạch. Ban đêm nên thức canh (jāgaraṇa), và lúc rạng đông nên thí thực cho các dvija (Bà-la-môn).
