It defines Kriyā-yoga as disciplined Shiva-worship performed through concrete sacred actions—offerings, bodily service, and reverential gestures—showing that ritual, when done with devotion, becomes a yogic path that purifies the soul and steadies the mind toward Pati (Shiva).
Kriyā-yoga is primarily expressed through Saguna worship—especially Linga-pūjā—where hands, materials, and prescribed acts (like namaskāra) become vehicles for focusing devotion and surrender to Lord Shiva’s gracious form.
Perform Shiva-pūjā with available offerings, accompany it with namaskāra/prostration and bodily service; this can be integrated with mantra-japa (such as the Pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) to make the ritual an inward yogic discipline.
