Description of the General Battle Between Devas and Daityas

It highlights how ego-driven power (asuric strength) can become “unconquerable” to ordinary divine forces, indicating that only Shiva’s higher ordinance—and the right divine instrument (Kumara/Kartikeya)—restores dharma.
The devas’ inability points to dependence on Saguna Shiva’s grace and governance: when cosmic imbalance rises, refuge is taken in Shiva (often through Linga-worship and prayer) so that his will manifests as the appropriate liberating and protective power.
Take refuge in Shiva through steady japa of the Panchakshara mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and humility; as a devotional safeguard, traditional Shaiva practice includes Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudraksha as reminders to restrain pride and align with dharma.
