Transliteration

praṇamya kārttikaṃ prītyā sarvadevarṣibhissaha | tuṣṭāva vividhasstotraiḥ śivarūpaṃ sanātanam

Translation

Cúi lạy Kārttikeya với lòng mến kính, cùng với hết thảy chư thiên và các bậc hiền thánh, Ngài đã ca ngợi bằng nhiều thánh ca khác nhau hình tướng Śiva vĩnh cửu đang hiển lộ nơi Kārttikeya.
