Ai, với sự tự chế và kỷ luật, lắng nghe thánh truyện tối thượng cát tường này, người ấy sẽ được đầy đủ mọi phúc lành và trở thành chính một nơi chốn của điềm lành.

Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Significance: Phalaśruti: disciplined listening (susaṃyama) to auspicious Śaiva kathā is said to confer sarva-maṅgala—seen in Siddhānta as ripening of mala-kṣaya and receptivity to grace.
Type: stotra
It teaches the Shaiva principle that śravaṇa (devout listening) done with self-restraint purifies the mind, strengthens bhakti, and draws the devotee into Shiva’s auspicious grace—so one becomes a “seat” of mangala (well-being) for oneself and others.
Listening to Shiva-kathā is itself a form of Saguna-upāsanā: it fixes awareness on Shiva’s names, deeds, and compassion, preparing the heart for Linga worship, mantra-japa, and reverent temple or home pūjā with steadiness.
Practice disciplined śravaṇa: hear or recite the chapter with purity and restraint, ideally followed by “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” japa; if one follows Rudra-Shaiva customs, this can be paired with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa as supports for focused devotion.
