प्र सुमेधा गातुविद्विश्वदेवः सोमः पुनानः सद एति नित्यम् । भुवद्विश्वेषु काव्येषु रन्तानु जनान्यतते पञ्च धीरः ॥

Transliteration

prá su-medhā́ gātu-víd viśvá-devaḥ sómaḥ punānáḥ sáda etí nítyam | bhúvad víśveṣu kā́vyeṣu rántā́nu jánān yatate páñca dhī́raḥ ||

Translation

Soma—bậc thiện trí, kẻ biết đường, thuộc về mọi thần linh—tiến bước về phía trước; được thanh luyện, Người luôn đến hội tòa (sadas). Trở thành kẻ hưởng thụ trong mọi tác phẩm linh hứng (kāvya), bậc kiên định, trí giả (dhīra) trải mình khắp các dân tộc bằng hành tác năm phần (pañca).
