Rishi: Vasiṣṭha (Vasiṣṭha-gotra tradition for Maṇḍala 7; hymn to the Aśvins)
Devata: Aśvinau (Nā́satyā)
Chandas: Triṣṭubh (11-syllable pādas typical for RV 7.71)

उपायातं दाशुषे मर्त्याय रथेन वाममश्विना वहन्ता । युयुतमस्मदनिराममीवां दिवा नक्तं माध्वी त्रासीथां नः ॥

upā́yātaṃ dāśúṣe mártyāya ráthena vāmám aśvinā váhantā | yuyutám asmád anirā́m amī́vāṃ divā́ náktaṃ mādhvī́ trā́sīthāṃ naḥ ||

Xin hãy đến gần người phàm dâng lễ này, hỡi Aśvins, được chở trên cỗ xe đẹp của hai Ngài. Xin xua khỏi chúng con bệnh tật không đem niềm vui; ngày cũng như đêm, hỡi các quyền năng ngọt như mật, xin che chở chúng con.
