मात्र पूषन्नाघृण इरस्यो वरूत्री यद्रातिषाचश्च रासन् । मयोभुवो नो अर्वन्तो नि पान्तु वृष्टिं परिज्मा वातो ददातु ॥

Transliteration

mā́tra pūṣann āghṛṇe irasyó varūtrī yád rātiṣā́caś ca rāsán | mayobhúvo no árvanto ní pāntu vṛṣṭíṃ parijmā́ vā́to dadātu ||

Translation

Hỡi Pūṣan, hỡi Đấng rực sáng (Āghṛṇi), xin đừng phụ chúng con nơi đây; nguyện các quyền năng hộ trì (Varūtrī) và những vị đồng hành cùng sự ban phát (Rātiṣāc) hãy ban cho. Nguyện những tuấn mã đem phúc lạc gìn giữ chúng con vững bền; và nguyện Vāta, ngọn Gió đi khắp vòng trời, ban mưa—một dòng tuôn của sức lực tươi mát.
