वनस्पतेऽव सृजोप देवानग्निर्हविः शमिता सूदयाति । सेदु होता सत्यतरो यजाति यथा देवानां जनिमानि वेद ॥

Transliteration

vánaspate ’vá sṛjópa devā́n agnír havíḥ śamitā́ sūdayāti | séd u hotā́ satyá-taro yajāti yáthā devā́nāṃ jánimāni véda ||

Translation

Hỡi Chúa của cây rừng (Vanaspati), xin mở đường cho chư thần đến gần. Agni, đấng sắp đặt lễ vật, dẫn của cúng (havis) đi đúng lối. Rồi vị Hotṛ, càng chân thật trong chân lý, cử hành tế lễ—vì người biết những cuộc sinh thành và sự trở nên của các thần.
