इमा गिर आदित्येभ्यो घृतस्नूः सनाद्राजभ्यो जुह्वा जुहोमि । शृणोतु मित्रो अर्यमा भगो नस्तुविजातो वरुणो दक्षो अंशः ॥

Transliteration

imā́ gíra ādityébhyo ghṛtásnūḥ sanā́d rājábhyo juhvā́ juhomi | śṛṇótu mitró aryamā́ bhágo nas tuvijātó váruṇo dákṣo áṃśaḥ ||

Translation

Những lời này—đẫm ánh ghṛta trong trẻo—ta múc bằng muôi tế lễ mà rưới dâng lên các Āditya (Ādityas), những vị vương từ thuở xưa. Xin Mitra hãy lắng nghe, xin Aryaman và Bhaga vì chúng con hãy lắng nghe; xin Varuṇa, bậc sinh thành hùng lực, hãy lắng nghe—cùng Dákṣa và Aṃśa nữa.
