यजस्व वीर प्र विहि मनायतो भद्रं मनः कृणुष्व वृत्रतूर्ये । हविष्कृणुष्व सुभगो यथाससि ब्रह्मणस्पतेरव आ वृणीमहे ॥

Transliteration

yáj asva vī́ra prá víhi manāyató bhadráṃ mánaḥ kṛṇuṣva vṛtra-tū́rye | havíḥ kṛṇuṣva su-bhágo yáthā́sasi bráhmaṇas patér áva ā́ vṛṇīmahe ||

Translation

Hãy tế tự, hỡi dũng sĩ; hãy phóng ý chí tìm cầu tiến lên—trong cuộc chiến phá tan Kẻ Che Phủ, Vṛtra, hãy làm cho tâm trở thành khí cụ cát tường và rực sáng. Hãy chuẩn bị lễ vật để ngươi được phúc lành theo con đường thành tựu đúng đắn; chúng ta chọn và thỉnh mời sự trợ hộ che chở của Brahmaṇaspati giáng xuống.
