प्र सु विश्वान्रक्षसो धक्ष्यग्ने भवा यज्ञानामभिशस्तिपावा । अथा वह सोमपतिं हरिभ्यामातिथ्यमस्मै चकृमा सुदाव्ने ॥

Transliteration

prá sú viśvā́n rákṣaso dhákṣy agne bhávā yajñā́nām abhiśastipā́vā | áthā vaha sómapatiṃ háribhyām ātíthyam asmai cakṛma sudā́vne ||

Translation

Hỡi Agni, hãy thiêu đốt mọi rakṣas—những thế lực của bóng tối; hãy trở thành đấng thanh tẩy và hộ vệ các lễ tế, gìn giữ tế tự của chúng con khỏi sự công kích thù nghịch. Rồi hãy đem đến Chúa của Soma (Somapati) cùng đôi tuấn mã vàng nâu (hari); vì Ngài, bậc ban phát rộng lượng, chúng con đã chuẩn bị sự tiếp đãi bằng lễ vật (ātithya).
