त्रिशिरा-प्रबोधनम् तथा नरान्तक-वधः

हरयोपिमहात्मानोददृशुर्नेरृतम् ।।6.69.40।।हस्त्यश्वरथसम्बाधंकिङ्किणीशतनादितम् ।नीलजीमूतसङ्काशंसमुद्यतमहायुधम् ।।6.69.41।।दीप्तानलरविप्रख्यैस्सर्वतोनैरृतैर्वृतम् ।
tad dṛṣṭvā balam āyāntaṃ labdhalakṣāḥ plavaṅgamāḥ | samudyatamahāśailāḥ sampraṇeduḥ mahābalāḥ | amṛṣyamāṇā rakṣāṃsi pratinardanta vānarāḥ ||
Thấy đạo quân địch tiến đến, bầy khỉ—đã định chuẩn mục tiêu—nhấc lên những tảng đá và núi lớn; sức mạnh phi thường, chúng đồng loạt phát tiếng hô vang, và không chịu nổi lời thách thức của rākṣasa, các chiến binh vānara gầm lên đáp trả.
The huge monkeys also saw groups of elephants, horses and chariots and heard hundreds of bells of the chariots and Rakshasas all over like groups of dark clouds with huge weapons glowing like fire and Sun surrounded by Rakshasa army.
