Ravana’s Shakti Javelin and Lakshmana’s Wounding

Rama beheld Lakshmana pierced with javelin in the great war bathed in blood and resembling a mountain with a snake penetrated into it.
The verse highlights the dharmic bond of protection: seeing a righteous ally struck down becomes a moral summons to defend, heal, and restore justice.
Rāma witnesses Lakṣmaṇa grievously impaled by Rāvaṇa’s śakti in the midst of battle.
Rāma’s karuṇā (compassion) and fraternal responsibility are implied through his immediate perception and response to Lakṣmaṇa’s suffering.
