रावणभवनपरिक्रमणं हनूमतः शोकविचारश्च

सोऽहं नैव गमिष्यामि किष्किन्धां नगरीमितः।।।।न च शक्ष्याम्यहं द्रष्टुं सुग्रीवं मैथिलीं विना।
so ’haṃ naiva gamiṣyāmi kiṣkindhāṃ nagarīm itaḥ |
na ca śakṣyāmy ahaṃ draṣṭuṃ sugrīvaṃ maithilīṃ vinā ||
Vì thế, từ đây ta quyết chẳng trở về thành Kiṣkindhā; và ta cũng không thể nào đối diện Sugrīva khi chưa có Maithilī.
