Sugriva’s Remorse and Tara’s Lament after Vali’s Death
अंहो बतेदं नृवराविषह्यंनिवर्तते मे हृदि साधुवृत्तम्।विवर्णमग्नौ परितप्यमानंकिट्टं यथा राघव जातरूपम्।।
aṃho batedaṃ nṛvara aviṣahyaṃ nivartate me hṛdi sādhuvṛttam |
vivarṇam agnau paritapyamānaṃ kiṭṭaṃ yathā rāghava jātarūpam ||
Than ôi, hỡi bậc tối thượng trong loài người—nỗi khổ này thật không sao chịu nổi: hạnh lành trong tim ta đang lùi mất, như xỉ sắt đẩy lùi vàng ròng khi bị nung trong lửa, hỡi Rāghava.
