Rāma Subdues Paraśurāma; the Vaiṣṇava Arrow Is Discharged
ततो वितिमिरास्सर्वा दिशश्चोपदिशस्तथा।सुरा स्सर्षिगणा रामं प्रशशंसुरुदायुधम्।।।।
tato vitimirāḥ sarvā diśaś copadiśas tathā | surāḥ sarṣigaṇā rāmaṁ praśaśaṁsur udāyudham ||
Bấy giờ, mọi phương và các phương phụ đều trở nên quang đãng, sạch hết u ám; chư Thiên cùng các hội chúng hiền thánh rishi đều tán thán Rāma, bậc cầm vũ khí đại lực.
Having spoken thus, the enraged Rama, gifted with quick vigour, seized the bow and arrow from Parasurama's hands.
When dharma is restored, the world is symbolically ‘cleared of darkness’; righteous action brings clarity, safety, and cosmic approval.
With Paraśurāma subdued and the threat ended, cosmic signs appear and divine beings praise Rāma.
Dharma-protecting power—strength used in alignment with moral order earns the endorsement of sages and gods.
