बालकाण्ड सर्ग ३६
गङ्गा-प्रभवप्रश्नः, शिवतेजोधारणं, कार्त्तिकेय-जन्म, उमाशापः
एवमुक्तस्सुरपति: प्रमुमोच महीतले।तेजसा पृथिवी येन व्याप्ता सगिरिकानना।।।।
evam uktaḥ surapatiḥ pramumocha mahītale |
tejasā pṛthivī yena vyāptā sagirikānanā ||
Được chư Thiên chỉ bày như thế, Thần Chủ (Śiva) liền phóng thích xuống mặt đất; nhờ tejas ấy, toàn thế gian đều bị thấm nhuần—núi non và rừng thẳm cũng vậy.
Thus replied by the devatas, the god of the gods released his vital fluid on earth. Itpervaded the entire earth including mountains and forests.
