प्रवेशः / Entry into Kāma’s Hermitage at the Sarayū–Gaṅgā Confluence
तस्य गात्रं हतं तत्र निर्दग्थस्य महात्मना।अशरीर: कृत: काम: क्रोधाद्देवेश्वरेण हि।।।।
tasya gātraṃ hataṃ tatra nirdagdhasya mahātmanā |
aśarīraḥ kṛtaḥ kāmaḥ krodhād deveśvareṇa hi ||
Tại đó, bậc Đại Hồn đã thiêu đốt đến tận cùng; thân xác của Kāma bị hủy diệt. Quả thật, do cơn phẫn nộ, Đấng Chúa tể chư thiên đã khiến Kāma trở thành vô thân.
Having been completely burnt down by Lord Siva, Kama's body was destroyed. Mighty angry, Siva, reduced Kama to a 'disembodied being.
Forces that disturb righteous order can be neutralized; Dharma prevails when higher authority restrains harmful impulses.
The story reaches the point where Kāma is not merely burned but rendered disembodied as a result of divine wrath.
The implied virtue is tapas-backed authority: spiritual power used to uphold order by curbing disruptive desire.
