The Manifestation of the Śloka
पूजयामास तं देवं पाद्यार्घ्यासनवन्दनै: ।प्रणम्य विधिवच्चैनं पृष्ट्वाऽनामयमव्ययम् ।।1.2.25।।
pūjayāmāsa taṃ devaṃ pādyārghyāsanavandanaiḥ | praṇamya vidhivac cainaṃ pṛṣṭvā ’nāmayam avyayam ||1.2.25||
Ngài phụng thờ vị Thiên ấy theo nghi lễ tiếp đón: dâng nước rửa chân, dâng arghya, kính mời an tọa và đảnh lễ; rồi cúi lạy đúng pháp, thăm hỏi sự an lành của Đấng Bất Hoại.
Bowing with reverence as enjoined by tradition and having enquired of his well being,Valmiki worshipped the immutable Brahma by falling at his feet and welcoming him with a seat and water to wash his feet with.
Dharma is expressed through respectful reception and proper conduct toward the venerable; honoring the divine/wise sustains satya-based culture and right relationship.
Vālmīki formally receives Brahmā with ritual hospitality and asks about his well-being.
Vālmīki’s meticulous courtesy and reverence—embodying atithi-dharma.
