श्रीभगवानुवाच । पित्रोर्भक्तः सदा मूकः पतिव्रता शुभा च सा । सत्यवादी तुलाधारः समः सर्वजनेषु च

śrībhagavānuvāca | pitrorbhaktaḥ sadā mūkaḥ pativratā śubhā ca sā | satyavādī tulādhāraḥ samaḥ sarvajaneṣu ca

Đức Thế Tôn phán: “Người ấy luôn hiếu kính cha mẹ, thường giữ im lặng; còn nàng là người vợ pativratā, hiền lành cát tường, một lòng với chồng. Người ấy nói lời chân thật, vững như cán cân, tâm bình đẳng và đối với mọi người đều giữ sự công bằng.”
