तत्स्थानं तौ च वै कूपौ भगवान्प्रब्रवीतु मे । एवमुक्तश्च रामेण मार्कंडः प्रत्युवाच ह

tatsthānaṃ tau ca vai kūpau bhagavānprabravītu me | evamuktaśca rāmeṇa mārkaṃḍaḥ pratyuvāca ha

“Xin Đấng Thế Tôn nói cho ta về nơi ấy và về hai chiếc giếng kia.” Được Rāma thưa hỏi như vậy, Mārkaṇḍa liền đáp lời.
