The Account and Merit of Śivadūtī
with the Nāga-tīrtha at Puṣkara
शिवदूत्य उवाच । कुत्सितं भवता दत्तं प्रजानां परिपीडनम् । न च त्वं बुध्यसे दातुं शंकररस्य विशेषतः
śivadūtya uvāca | kutsitaṃ bhavatā dattaṃ prajānāṃ paripīḍanam | na ca tvaṃ budhyase dātuṃ śaṃkararasya viśeṣataḥ
Śivadūtī nói: “Điều ngươi ban cho thật đáng chê trách—là sự áp bức đối với muôn dân. Vậy mà ngươi vẫn không hiểu cách bố thí, nhất là cách bố thí làm đẹp lòng Śaṅkara.”
