Gaṅgā

अनेन कारणेनाभूद्गंगा विष्णुपदी नृप । यया सर्वमिदं व्याप्तं त्रैलोक्यं सचराचरम्

anena kāraṇenābhūdgaṃgā viṣṇupadī nṛpa | yayā sarvamidaṃ vyāptaṃ trailokyaṃ sacarācaram

Vì lẽ ấy, hỡi bậc quân vương, sông Gaṅgā được gọi là ‘Viṣṇupadī’; nhờ nàng mà toàn thể tam giới—hữu tình và vô tình—đều được thấm nhuần, bao trùm.
