Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that sincere tirtha-practice—specifically abhiṣeka at a sacred river confluence with properly observed vows—can yield merit comparable to the greatest royal Vedic sacrifices, emphasizing accessible dharma for all.
By valuing disciplined, faith-filled observance at a holy place over costly grand rites, it supports a bhakti-oriented ethic: devotion expressed through purity, vrata, and sacred bathing can confer immense spiritual fruit.
It highlights kalpa (ritual procedure) and dharma-vrata discipline: performing abhiṣeka at the proper tirtha (saṅgama) with correct observance is presented as a potent, scripturally sanctioned rite.
