Narada (narrative voice; blessing/boon statement in the Tirtha-Mahatmya flow)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents a liberating benediction: true spiritual success is to gain higher insight (trikāla-darśitva) and to make Viṣṇu the ultimate refuge at life’s end, culminating in mokṣa.
Bhakti is framed as “ante gati”—holding Viṣṇu as the final goal and shelter at death—implying that steadfast remembrance and surrender to Viṣṇu is the decisive support for liberation.
The phrase “trikāla-darśī” echoes Jyotiṣa (Vedic astronomy/astrology) language about time and its comprehension, but the verse emphasizes its devotional culmination: time-knowledge is subordinate to taking refuge in Viṣṇu.
