न तत्रोदयिनी ग्राह्या दैवस्योदयिकी तिथिः । प्रत्यहं शोधयेत्प्राज्ञस्तिथिं दैवज्ञचिंतकात् ॥ १६ ॥

Transliteration

na tatrodayinī grāhyā daivasyodayikī tithiḥ | pratyahaṃ śodhayetprājñastithiṃ daivajñaciṃtakāt || 16 ||

Translation

Trong việc ấy, không nên chấp nhận cách tính tithi kiểu “udayinī” dựa theo mặt trời mọc; trái lại, đối với các pháp sự và nghi lễ thiêng liêng, tithi phải được xác định có tham chiếu đến bình minh. Vì vậy, người trí nên mỗi ngày tra xét tithi bằng cách hỏi bậc tinh thông chiêm tinh.
