Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It prescribes a complete sādhana sequence—dhyāna (meditation on the deity’s form), mantra-japa (fixed numerical discipline), and a confirming offering (daśāṃśa oblation)—showing that inner recollection and outer rite are meant to mature together.
Bhakti here is expressed as focused remembrance (smaraṇa/dhyāna) followed by sustained japa; the offering of red lotuses functions as a devotional act that seals the vow of practice with tangible reverence.
It highlights ritual-technical counting and completion rules—performing a fixed japa target (four lakhs) and then executing daśāṃśa (one-tenth) offerings—reflecting procedural discipline akin to kalpa-style ritual method.
