सनत्कुमार उवाच । किं त्वं नारद जानासि पूर्वजन्मनि यत्त्वया । प्राप्तं भगवतः साक्षाच्छूलिनो युगलात्मकम् ॥ १ ॥
sanatkumāra uvāca | kiṃ tvaṃ nārada jānāsi pūrvajanmani yattvayā | prāptaṃ bhagavataḥ sākṣācchūlino yugalātmakam || 1 ||
Sanatkumāra nói: “Hỡi Nārada, ngươi có nhớ điều mình đã biết trong đời trước chăng—tức điều ngươi đã trực tiếp thọ nhận từ Đấng Thế Tôn Śūlin (Śiva), trong hình thái song đôi (yugala) của Ngài?”
