Narada (teaching a technical ritual formula within the Vedanga-oriented section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents a prayoga-style mantra where a consecrated lamp becomes the ritual support for protection and boon-granting, showing how devotion is applied through precise vidhi (method).
Bhakti here is expressed as focused invocation—addressing a divine power with reverence and requesting protection and blessings—while maintaining correct ritual orientation and intent.
It highlights ritual application (prayoga) with directionality (west-facing) and the use of placeholders like “amuka” for inserting the practitioner’s name and desired goal—typical of technical mantra manuals.
