Narada (teaching within a technical/mantra-vidhi context, as preserved in Book 1.3)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It gives the formal mantra-lakṣaṇa (ṛṣi, chandas, devatā, bīja, śakti) that sanctifies practice: the mantra is approached through its seer and metre, and centered on devotion to Śrī Rāma as the presiding deity.
By naming Śrī Rāma as the devatā of the practice, it frames the technical mantra procedure as an act of focused worship—bhakti expressed through correct mantra-recitation and ritual discipline.
It highlights chandas (metre) and mantra-vidhi conventions—how a mantra is defined by ṛṣi, chandas, devatā, bīja, and śakti—used in ritual application and nyāsa-style identification.
