The Description of the Worship of Rāma and Others
Rāmādi-pūjā-vidhāna
तप्तहाटकवर्णाभां पद्मयुग्मं करद्वये । सद्रत्नभूषणस्फूर्जद्दिव्यदेहां शुभात्मिकाम् ॥ १३४ ॥
taptahāṭakavarṇābhāṃ padmayugmaṃ karadvaye | sadratnabhūṣaṇasphūrjaddivyadehāṃ śubhātmikām || 134 ||
Hào quang của Ngài như vàng nung rực; trong cả hai tay cầm đôi hoa sen. Trang sức bằng châu báu rực rỡ, thân thể thần diệu của Ngài tỏa sáng—bản tính thuần lành, cát tường.
Narada (narration within the dialogue tradition with the Sanatkumara brothers)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents an auspicious divine form—golden radiance, lotus-emblem, and jewel-like brilliance—meant to elevate the mind toward śubha (auspiciousness), purity, and devotional contemplation.
By detailing a luminous, auspicious form (commonly associated with Śrī/Lakṣmī), the verse supports bhakti through dhyāna (visualization) and reverent remembrance—core devotional practices in Purāṇic worship.
The verse mainly serves dhyāna-vidhi (meditative visualization) and pūjā-lakṣaṇa (worship characteristics) rather than a specific Vedāṅga; it aligns most closely with ritual-practice framing (kalpa-oriented application) through iconographic description.
