Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It is a devotional salutation identifying Janārdana (Vishnu) as the supreme ground of cosmic functions—creation, preservation, and dissolution—encouraging surrender (praṇāma) to the One Lord behind all change.
Bhakti is expressed through humble bowing to Janārdana as Ādi-deva and Īśāna; recognizing His lordship over the universe turns worship from fear of events to trust in the divine controller of all cycles.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is theological clarity used in mantra-stuti and pūjā—addressing Vishnu as the Lord of sṛṣṭi-sthiti-laya during recitation and ritual worship.
