Bhakti-Śraddhā-Ācāra-Māhātmya and the Commencement of the Mārkaṇḍeya Narrative
भक्त्या सिध्यन्ति कर्म्माणि कर्म्माणि कर्म्माभिस्तुष्यते हरिः । तस्मिंस्तुष्टे भवेज्ज्ञानं ज्ञानान्मोक्षमवाप्यते ॥ ३२ ॥
bhaktyā sidhyanti karmmāṇi karmmāṇi karmmābhistuṣyate hariḥ | tasmiṃstuṣṭe bhavejjñānaṃ jñānānmokṣamavāpyate || 32 ||
Nhờ bhakti, các nghiệp vụ và bổn phận nghi lễ được viên mãn; chính nhờ những bổn phận ấy mà Hari được hoan hỷ. Khi Ngài hoan hỷ, trí tuệ chân thật phát sinh, và từ trí tuệ ấy đạt được mokṣa (giải thoát).

The verse implies the correct application of karma-kāṇḍa disciplines—ritual performance guided by śrauta/smārta procedure (kalpa in practice)—but emphasizes that devotion is the essential ingredient that makes such karma spiritually fruitful.
