ततः प्रसन्नो भगवान्कर्मणा मम मानद । देवावसथसंस्कारसंज्ञितेन कृतेन नः ॥ ५३ ॥
tataḥ prasanno bhagavānkarmaṇā mama mānada | devāvasathasaṃskārasaṃjñitena kṛtena naḥ || 53 ||
Bấy giờ Đức Thế Tôn hoan hỷ trước hành vi của ta, hỡi bậc ban danh dự, khi chúng ta cử hành nghi lễ gọi là “thánh hóa nơi cư trú của chư thiên” (devāvasatha-saṃskāra).
Narada (narrating to Sanatkumara / the Kumara sages)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that Bhagavan is pleased when sacred rites (saṃskāras) are performed correctly and with devotion—here, the consecration connected to establishing a divine abode.
Bhakti is expressed through reverent action: serving the Lord by preparing and sanctifying a space for divine presence (deva-āvasatha) becomes an offering that invites grace (prasāda).
It points to Kalpa (ritual procedure) and related saṃskāra-vidhi—how consecratory acts and correct performance of rites are integral to Purāṇic worship practice.
