Narada (teaching in a dharma/vrata context within Purva Bhaga)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It links inner discipline (jāgara and allied observances) with right conclusion of a rite: honoring spiritual knowledge through giving to an ātma-vid, showing that realization and dharma are supported by humility and generosity.
While the verse is primarily ritual-dharma, its spirit supports bhakti by emphasizing reverence for the spiritually accomplished and offering dakṣiṇā without pride—devotion expressed through service and giving according to one’s means.
Ritual praxis is foregrounded: proper completion (nirvartanā) of an observance and the rule of dakṣiṇā, including a specific traditional measure (āḍhaka) for grain—reflecting applied kalpa-style procedural detail.
