यस्मिन्वारे क्षणो वारदृष्टस्तद्वासराधिपः । आद्यः षष्ठो द्वितीयोऽस्मात्तत्षष्ठस्तु तृतीयकः ॥ १६६ ॥
yasminvāre kṣaṇo vāradṛṣṭastadvāsarādhipaḥ | ādyaḥ ṣaṣṭho dvitīyo'smāttatṣaṣṭhastu tṛtīyakaḥ || 166 ||
Vào khoảnh khắc nào thấy rơi vào một ngày trong tuần (vāra), thì vị chủ tể của ngày ấy là người cai quản ngày. Từ vị chủ ngày đó mà tính: vị thứ nhất được kể là thứ sáu; vị thứ hai là thứ sáu tính từ đó; và vị thứ ba là thứ sáu tính từ vị ấy.
