तल्लुंबपापबिंबांतर्दृणौ व्याप्तरविघ्नभाः । अस्ते सावयवा ज्ञेया गतैष्यास्तिथयो बुधैः ॥ १६७ ॥
talluṃbapāpabiṃbāṃtardṛṇau vyāptaravighnabhāḥ | aste sāvayavā jñeyā gataiṣyāstithayo budhaiḥ || 167 ||
Khi thấy đĩa trăng lúc lặn với quầng tì vết—phần trong như bị ánh quang ngăn che của Mặt Trời xuyên rọi—thì bậc học giả nên biết rằng các tithi phải được xác định trọn phần, phân biệt phần đã qua với phần sắp đến.
