Vyākaraṇa-saṅgraha: Pada–Vibhakti–Kāraka–Lakāra–Samāsa
सनंदन उवाच । अथ व्याकरणं वक्ष्ये संक्षेपात्तव नारद । सिद्धरूपप्रबंधेन मुखं वेदस्य सांप्रतम् ॥ १ ॥
sanaṃdana uvāca | atha vyākaraṇaṃ vakṣye saṃkṣepāttava nārada | siddharūpaprabaṃdhena mukhaṃ vedasya sāṃpratam || 1 ||
Sanandana nói: Nay, hỡi Nārada, ta sẽ giảng về ngữ pháp một cách vắn tắt, theo một bản hệ thống các hình thái đã được xác lập; bởi hiện thời, nó chính là ‘cái miệng’—cửa ngõ—của Veda.
