jagad vyākulatāṃ yātaṃ pralayāgamaśaṅkayā kṣaṇātpraśāntanirhrādaṃ jvaladulkāsamācitam //

Thế gian rúng động, vì sợ Pralaya—ngày đại hủy diệt—đang đến gần. Chỉ trong khoảnh khắc, mọi tiếng gầm vang đều lặng tắt, còn bầu trời thì dày đặc những thiên thạch rực cháy.
